With initially two days to go until the new Infinity Nikki Version 1.11 Encore Season update, I’ve left myself next to no time to play through the current Version 1.10 content for the Golden Season.
The current content for Infinity Nikki, Golden Season looked to be pack full of fun and mysterious new quests, outfits and more. With gorgeous new outfits to attempt to complete via resonance or by completing tasks, new storylines to play through as well as honing in on Nikki and Momo’s detective skills, there was plenty to explore in this current wave of content.
It’s a tough challenge, but my aim is to get as much of the current content as possible done in the time I have left. However, I’m hopeful that I can unlock one particular outfit that you obtain from resonating. This being the Distant Sunshowers outfit because it is just too adorable and cute to not try and complete the outfit.
The Golden Season Plan
With around 48 hours before the Encore Season update, I jumped into the game and was instantly overwhelmed with where to start. I’d forgotten what I was attempting to do the last time I played and suddenly a wave of new content was there ready for me to start.
Of course, because I hadn’t played for a few weeks, I had unlocked the Reignite Your Whim feature in game. This was a nice way to help ease me back in, as well as prompting me on a few things to check out. There are even rewards for when you log in each day, which is a lovely incentive.
Anywho, I’m back in game, not sure where to start however, let’s take a few screenshots of my latest outfit to get things going before I change things up!
With no Revelation Crystals, minimal Diamonds, this is where the grind begins. I started by working through some of the easier new quests. Gaining small amounts of Diamonds along the way. Slowly but surely things were taking shape.
With the Rippling Chronicles quests complete, it was time to switch to the Harvest Chronicles. Three more smaller quests to complete, each with a variety of rewards. Next thing I knew, that was that round of quests done.
However, I was now stuck as to where to go next. The new story quest is permanent, although it has some limited time rewards for completion, so that was one option I had. On the other hand, I had the Time to Collect quests I could quickly run through and complete as many as possible.
One thing I’ve enjoyed about these recent quests in being back in Abandoned District along with the Pieceys. It’s not an area I tend to go to very often when I’m playing, but I love going from island to island and discovering where to go next.
Let’s fast-forward two days and see how I got on!
Progress is Progress, Right?
With the next maintenance period now here, I feel as though I finally got to a place where I felt I’d completed everything I could. There are aspects of the current content I was hoping to have spent more time with, but it just wasn’t doable, and that is totally okay.
While I did enjoy what I was able to play before the end of this current season, I do wish I gave myself more time to have enjoyed it at a slower pace. I really felt I was rushing aspects in places just to try and get as much done as possible.
In the end, I left a handful of smaller Time To Collect quests that simply were just a little too far out of reach, as well as a couple of other quests that I hadn’t finished. As for the new story, that I can continue when maintenance is complete, I feel I’m coming towards the end of those quests so I will just need to wrap up those last couple of cases.
I did, however, manage to fully complete the Distant Sunshowers outfit, although it did require some serious grinding and scrambling to try and get the last couple of pieces to complete the outfit.
Naturally, I couldn’t help but take some eerie inspired photos using the new outfit before I needed to log off.
New Update Content
The new Infinity Nikki 1.11 Encore Season update is already packed full of brand-new features and outfits. It’s crazy to think that we are also fast approaching the game’s first birthday, too!
I’m excited to get stuck in once this current maintenance period is over and my aim is to slowly chip away at the content rather than leaving it to the last couple of days.
Also coming in this update is the long-awaited home cooking feature! One that many of us will be super excited to check out once the new season is live!
Final Thoughts on the Golden Season
Despite rushing through a lot of the content, I did thoroughly enjoy what I played. I loved revisiting an area I haven’t been to in a while, and the story quest for the most part was interesting and fun. I even created a quick little detective themed outfit to help set the mood a little more. You can’t solve a case if you aren’t dressed appropriately!
With that being said, this recent update did leave me with pretty much no diamonds or crystals going into the new content. It looks like I’ll be returning to some early grinding to build those back up again as quickly as I possibly can without having to spend my actual money in the game on them!
