With Infinity Nikki version 1.8 Danqing Season now live, I felt that it would be a good time to sit down and catch up with everything going on in Miraland!
The last couple of times that I’ve written about Infinity Nikki on Leekscosycorner, I’ve talked about the first Developer Log entitled “Spilling the Tea” as well as my relationship with the game back in version 1.5. Now it’s safe to say that everything is going well, and any issues I was experiencing back in version 1.5 now seem to be fixed. However, instead of dwelling on the previous, the new Danqing Season and beyond is already shaping up to be pretty exciting, and I can’t wait to dive into the game again!
Danqing Season Overview
This has to be one of the more recent seasons that I’ve been excited for! It’s packed full of plenty to explore and do, so here’s a quick run down of some of the many new features:
- New Area – Danqing Island
- New area-specific Ability Outfit
- 5 new Curio Domains
- New Flora and Fauna
- New Monsters
- New Resonance Outfits
- New Permanent Fun to Play Event
- Various Bug Fixes and Optimazations
Miraland Roundtable, 2nd Edition
The second edition of the development team’s community updates also released this week. It’s a way that the developers can answer some of the many burning questions from the community and give an insight into things they are working on.
While this second edition covers the likes of upcoming wardrobe organization features and the ability to dye individual items, the article goes through some more exciting and upcoming features.
Firstly, and even though Version 1.8 has just launched, we already know that Version 1.9 will be huge! The addition of Nikki having her own home is highly anticipated and one many players have been eagerly waiting for.
Secondly, it will also come with a new cosy cooking feature too! These meals will also have a variety of useful benefits that are yet to be revealed. You can also invite friends round to share dishes, and these may even inspire and help you unlock more recipes!
Next up, what about more main story content?
Well, we have been reassured that it certainly is on the way! While players can expect more adventures between now and Version 1.11, Infold Games are already teasing new main story content in Version 2.0!
This will take on the form of Nikki arriving in the Elderwood Forest and the City of Spira. New regions to explore and full of new stories, Ability Outfits, memories and exciting gameplay to discover. Additionally, the team describes the upcoming Version 2.0 as an even richer Infinity Nikki experience that builds and grows from what players have already experienced. You’ll find yourself taking on new adventures aboard, a raft build by Shroomlings and riding a giant adorable Snail across the new world. I’m certainly excited for more to be revealed in the coming months!

Overall Thoughts
There certainly are a lot of exciting updates and features to come in Infinity Nikki, both now and in the coming months. Version 1.8 has a lot of promise, and I’m looking forward to jumping in and exploring the new Danqing Island.
While the main story for me is up-to-date, I still have plenty to do when it comes to side quests around Miraland and all those little bits that can keep me busy. The Heart of Infinity is something I have certainly neglected lately and should probably start working on progressing through that too.
As for the Creator Program, it’s being advertised again, and I’ve spoken about this a little previously, but I currently have no interest in joining the program. I’m still content with creating my own content on my own terms at this moment in time.
