On The Radar: May 2024

A new month means there are plenty of new cosy video game releases on the way! For May, I wanted to change things up and share some content based on the upcoming releases. These are ones that I’m excited for in the next month, which I’m hoping to check out upon their launch too!

So, here are several upcoming cosy new releases I can’t wait to explore!

Little Kitty, Big City

Release Date: 9th May 2024

First up, the highly anticipated Little Kitty, Big City. I’ve been following this game since it was originally revealed, and I can’t believe we are now just days away from its launch. Who doesn’t want to be a cute and adorable kitty exploring the big outdoors? Meeting friends and causing chaos?

This is an upcoming game that I find myself coming back to over and over again. There’s just something about it that has me intrigued. I’m curious to find out and discover the hidden truth, as well as learn about all the characters and explore the world. I also absolutely love the art style of Until Then too and feel it is perfect for the game!

Duck Detective: The Secret Salami

Release Date: 23rd May 2024
Platforms: PC and Nintendo Switch
Developer & Publisher: Happy Broccoli Games

No words can describe how excited I am for this game! Definitely going to be my most anticipated for the month of May!

Sunnyside

Release Date: 24th May 2024
Platforms: PC and Console (date TBC)
Developer: RainyGames
Publisher: Merge Games

Another game that is one I’ve followed since I stumbled across it when it was first revealed and it is Sunnyside! A cosy simulation game based in the Japanese countryside. After playing through the original demo, this is a game right up my street! It has so much to offer, and I can’t wait to see the full game when it is released later this month.
