Let’s kick off March with an adorably cute and relaxing hidden object puzzle game from one of Thailand’s biggest independent game studios, Bit Egg Inc. This is alongside Gamirror Games, who are helping the team publish Lost & Found Co.
Launching on 6th March 2026 on Steam, you take on the role of Ducky. A duck turned human, helping the local townspeople find and reconnect with their lost items through a brand-new magical start-up. The game features hand-drawn locations and elements, with nearly every single object being interactable in some way. Players will also discover that you can create and decorate your own style in Ducky’s office with some of the items you find along the way.
So, what do you think? It looks super adorable and relaxing already, right? Well, let me take you through what I found makes the game come to life!
What is Lost can be Found!
We begin our journey with a short cutscene that sets the story for us. How we got to finding and recovering lost objects and reuniting them with their owners. After a quick tutorial on how to play the game, we were interrupted with a breaking news story!
MORE LOST ITEMS!
Now, this certainly isn’t good news, but if one thing is for sure, it’s time to keep hold of our own items and help reunite those lost items to their rightful owners in Plumville. Easy, right?

Well, not exactly. A short comic book style cutscene plays that features the Goddess Mei Long, one of the characters you meet at the start of the game, a pink haired streamer and a little duck who has been chilling in the pond at Mei’s shrine. The scene unfolds between the three characters, and next thing you know, this little duck is taking on a new life challenge. A new look and a new name, and we are off on a new adventure!
However, despite this, the goddess Mei isn’t looking too good. We need to help her as well as finding the missing items.
A Suspicious and Dastardly Fox
Now, the real hunt for lost items, but first up, we find ourselves dealing with a sneaky and suspicious fox who swiped Mei’s phone! However, everything is not what it seems when we’ve progressed through several smaller puzzles to discover that these little foxes were just playing and teasing poor ducky!
Upon returning to Mei’s shrine, another unexpected mishap occurred, and now it was up to Ducky to find and fix everything! Maybe those foxes aren’t as cunning as first thought? Who knows? The only way to tell is to keep playing!

One Step and One Lost Item at a Time
With the first few tasks under our belt, it was time to keep going. Soon enough we were discovering and reuniting items with so many of the townspeople. Despite Ducky’s new form and Mei’s smaller sizing, the two worked hard to reunite the once lost objects.
As I’ve progressed further into the game, there are a few more features that unlock. Firstly, requests. These are smaller lost and found stages that help you not only find those missing items but also allow you to level up your popularity level. Something that some stages in the game require a certain amount of. Next is taking photos with celebrities and posting on Instapix, a fun little feature. Finally, in each stage, both story and requests, there is a to-do list. This contains objectives outside of the main one that are optional that players can also complete.
The Right Kind of Progress
While the game certainly is cosy and relaxing. It also doesn’t force you through the stages or the story. You simply go at your own pace. Yet, with that, you will also find that each of the hidden object puzzles will vary in difficulty. While some are very quick and easy, some will be more challenging but in the right way. It keeps you on your toes enough but not in a way that becomes frustrating. The help of the clues gives you an idea as to where those objects are as well while still leaving you curious.
The variety of puzzles, the initial detail and the hidden surprises make each puzzle at each stage a new challenge. You never know what you may discover as you click on different objects. However, through all of this, it remains whimsical and wholesome.

Puzzling and Whimsical Adventures Await
Who knew that becoming Ducky and the intern/assistant to a powerful Goddess could be such a fun and chaotic experience? Of course, all in a good way! I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing Lost & Found Co and adored every moment I spent with the game.
The characters are truly one of a kind, even those who aren’t part of the story. You can see some that take inspiration from various places, including notable franchises, brands and characters. The storyline, without spoiling it, is also fun and interesting and helps bring your adventure as a startup intern at Lost & Found Co to life. The quirkiness extends throughout the game through the gameplay and interacting with all of the different objects.
However, that’s not all!
The hand drawn art style, the attention to detail no matter how big or small, the music, the story, the atmosphere, the references, just every single aspect of this game I enjoyed. While I did experience one crash during my time playing, this was actually down to my cat wanting to get involved and accidentally restarting my whole PC rather than the game itself.

Currently there is a demo of Lost & Found Co that you can play, however, the game will release in full on 6th March 2026 on Steam and will be $17.99 USD but will also feature a limited-time launch discount. The game will launch in English and Thai as well as simplified and traditional Chinese. Lost & Found Co is looking to expand the playable languages and game platforms in the coming future.
So, if you’re looking for a wholesome, whimsical and fun puzzle/hidden object game to play, then Lost & Found Co may be just the game you are looking for! It’s certainly a game that you can just pick up and play whether you’ve got a spare moment to play or are looking to play for a longer session. Be sure to check the game out on Steam when it launches later this week!
