Get Started with Infinity Nikki: Basics in Wishfield and Itzaland

Welcome to Miraland Stylist!

Infinity Nikki has just launched its version 2.0 content, and it is still the perfect time to jump into the game! It’s crazy to think that we are also celebrating one year of adventures and memories with Nikki and Momo too!

Anyway, Infinity Nikki is the latest and fifth instalment in the long-running Nikki games series. It is also the first to be released on PC and PlayStation 5. Previously, the games were only available on Mobile. With a world of wonder to explore, you can dive straight into the cosiest game of the year straight away. Don’t worry if you haven’t played any of the previous Nikki games, either! As stylists, we all start somewhere!

Now that you’re starting your journey in Miraland, you might be wondering how to get started? Maybe looking for some notes on different aspects of the game to help get started. Well, here is some handy information to help you along the way as you journey into Miraland for the first time!

The World of Miraland

Infinity Nikki is set in the world of Miraland. A beautiful and mesmerizing open world ready to explore. A place full of stories to be told, memories to be made and secrets to uncover. Friends to meet, enemies to defeat, Sovereigns to challenge and so much more.

As you start to explore Miraland, you’ll begin your journey in Wishfield region, which is located in the Heartcraft Kingdom. Within Wishfield there are several main areas, players will be able to explore. Each with its own style, story, history, residents and more locations to discover within.

In Wishfield you’ll find the following locations:

  • Florawish
  • Breezy Meadows
  • Stoneville
  • Abandoned District
  • Wishing Woods
  • Firework Isles
  • Serenity Island

Additionally, you’ll also be able to explore the Sea of Stars and your own personal island where you will find Nikki’s home.

There are more areas to discover as well as many planned to be added over time. However, fear not, you can also fast travel around the world as well if needs be by using Warp Spires! These are unlocked as you uncover more areas around Miraland.

In the latest November 2025 update for Infinity Nikki, players were introduced to a new area. This being Itzaland, the place where we continue the main story with Nikki, Momo and friends!

Just like Wishfield, Itzaland is another area full of wonder and mysteries just waiting to be explored. With multiple new areas including Elderwood Forest and Spira, new residents to meet as well as foes to defeat. Who knows where the story will take us next.

Much like Wishfield being in the Heartcraft Kingdom, Itzaland is part of the Terra Alliance. Another kingdom within the wider Miraland world.

Quests

In Infinity Nikki, there are four different types of quests. MainWorldExclusive and Random.

You’ll be able to explore a range of mini-games, events and Styling Challenges to name a few through your time in Infinity Nikki. However, it’s important to remember there is no right or wrong way to complete quests. The only thing to keep in mind is any time limits that some quests may have. These are usually tied into the current Season of Infinity Nikki and may also include limited time rewards. You can easily keep track of these quests via the in game events page!

MainThese quests follow Nikki and Momo on their journey through Miraland. Discovering and unlocking the pieces of the Miracle Outfit and to help save Miraland. These quests are divided up into different chapters, unlock new Ability Outfits and locations.
ExclusiveThese are quests that require various subquests for Nikki to complete. These are recognised by their Gold Markers.
WorldWorld quests are those given by NPC’s throughout the game and act like side quests. These are individual stories that are not part of the Main Quests. While they vary in length, they are generally shorter than those that cover the core story. These are highlighted by Blue Markers on the world map.
RandomThese quests occur frequently across Miraland. They are usually short and could involve the player collecting resources or visiting a particular location. Some Random Quests are part of a bigger series of quests that take you across Miraland. These are also highlighted with Blue Markers on the world map.

Outfits: Ability, Miricale & Everyday

There are several different types of outfits you can find in Infinity Nikki.

  • Ability Outfits: These grant Nikki the use of various skills be it fishing, animal grooming, bug catching, shrinking and more!
  • Miricale Outfits: These are legendary outfits that Nikki obtains through unlocking different areas of the Heart of Infinity.
  • Everyday Outfits: These are the outfits you create using different clothing options from the game. You can also use preset outfits or creating your own outfit during Stylist Challenges too.

Additional clothing options can be purchased from NPC’s in the game using in-game currency or by Resonance.

The User Interface

Don’t be alarmed, at first glance, the user interface for Infinity Nikki may seem overwhelming. With lots of different tabs and icons and just a lot going on all at once. Personally, my best advice is to take some time just exploring the interface. Explore each button and menu, and take a look through each compendium just to get an idea as to what is what so that you can navigate the basics. The game does do a good job of explaining each aspect and tab as you unlock those features.

To start with, it may feel like some of the menus and compendium seem irrelevant, however as you progress into the game, they will begin to make sense. Even more so once you unlock the Pear-Pal feature a few hours into the game. In fact, the Pear-Pal is something you’ll soon find yourself navigating with so much ease.

Resources

Collect any and all resources that you come across!

While you might not need them to start with early in the game, they certainly will be useful as you progress. These can be anything from the likes of plants, animal materials, bugs, fish and drops from enemies. It’s also important to note that different areas can have different resources depending on the time of day and the weather!

Collecting these resources will also help you craft outfits, including the Miracle Outfits, Ability Outfits, Stylish Outfits, Rare Pieces and Whim Fragrance. The resources you collect will also help when you are taking part in some of the Realm Challenges, for example, the Realm of Escalation.

BlingsThe main everyday currency found throughout Miraland. These are easily found in the game.
Thread of PurityA commonly found crafting material that can be used to craft clothing and used to purchase items with certain merchants.
DiamondsFound in chests, completing quests, mini-games, levelling up and other areas of the game.
StellaritesThis can be purchased directly by players for a set amount via your platform store. These can then be redeemed against in-game items.
Resonite, Revelation & Epiphany CrystalsEarned in a variety of ways in the game, this currency can be obtained by levelling up your Mira level, improving your compendium levels, advancing your stylist rank and more!
Surging EbbThis is obtained when you get a four or five-star duplicate pull. These can be redeemed in the Resonance Store against various resources.
Tranquility DropletsThis is obtained when you get a three-start duplicate pull. These can be redeemed in the Resonance Store against various resources.
Dews of InspirationNot a currency as such, but once you’ve collected a certain amount, they can be traded with particular NPC’s known as Cadenceborns. These NPCs are unlocked by completing specifics quests in game.
Vital EnergyMore of a resource than currency, but these can be used to help with evolving materials, crafting materials, increasing your player insights and helping get eurekas. This appears to be a limited resource with a maximum amount available that then refills over time
Sprarklite, Dream Shards and Dream LightThis currency can be used in the Sparklite Store/Glow Store when completing Mira Crown tasks.
AstraliteThis currency is used to purchase/exchange for items and furniture sketches via the Yardling Shop.
Dreamland StoneThis currency can be used in exchange for furniture and various items in the Dreamland Store. Players can also obtain them from completing Dreamland Chronicle Tasks.

Whimstars & WhimsWhimstars can be found throughout the world and with Momo’s help. These will be items you can collect straight away or by completing small challenges. Whimstars can also be found in the Curio Realms. These can be used in a variety of ways including unlocking nodes in the Heart of Infinity.
Treasure CurrenciesCertain areas will have items that can redeem for various items which are particular for that area. For example the Dew of Firework can only be found on Firework Isle.
Event CurrenciesDuring some of the Limited Time Events, you may come across items that can be redeemed only duirng this time. These vary but are always explained as to how they can be used during said events.

In Game Currencies

Infinity Nikki has a lot of different currencies. However, each playing their part in the game. Below you’ll find a table of the most common currencies used within the Infinity Nikki World.

While on the topic of currencies and additional purchases, don’t forget to regualry check out the in game store. This is where you’ll find a number of options including season specific additonal purchases, log in events, seasonal timed events and resource purchasing. There is a mixture of free and paid options here.

Additionally, once a week, players can claim some free resources which include Nectar, Prisms and Astralites.

Resonance (Gacha System)

The gacha side of the game is completely optional. You can still experience the full game without any worries. You can also use the currency that you earn in the game against rewards in the Resonance features. This means you don’t have to spend any real money on the game if you don’t want to.

There are two sides to Resonance. Firstly, there are permanent banners which are outfits that will be available all the time. The second is limited banners, which as the name suggests are limited time. These tend to change evey 5-6 weeks with more limited time ones added in mid-way through each season.

You can spend either one or ten crystals at a time. Resonite Crystals can be redeemed against the permanent banners, whereas Revelation Crystals can be used against the limited-time banners. You can also redeem Diamonds & Stellarites towards pulls as well.

For the best chance of getting the higher-ranked pulls, try to save up enough crystals to do a ten-times pull.

Additionally, in Florawish and Spira, there is “gum-ball” gacha machine where you can use Bling to unlock more clothing items at random. There are a variety of common and rarer clothing options to collect.

Daily Tasks

While not compulsory, there are tasks that players can complete daily to earn rewards. The easiest is way to go about these is via the Whim Calendar. This is easily accessible from the main game screen user interface.

Startubg off with Daily Wishes, a series of five (sometimes six) tasks you can complete to earn rewards. Each task explains what players need to do and could be anything from taking a photograph with the in game camera or defeating enemies.

Starlit Moments are similar to Daily Wishes, however are focused more around the Sea of Stars area of the game. Again, there are several tasks you can complete for various rewards.

Next up, Realm Challenges. These vary and you can pick any that you wish to do. There’s no right or wrong way of doing Realm Challenges. Better still, you can repeat these multiple times if you have enough Vital Energy.

Lastly, there is the Mira Crown. This now has two different options available to complete. The Mira Crown Styling Contest and the Mira Crown Merit Arena. The latter being added in the recent Infinity Nikki 2.0 update.

With both of these you can earn rewards that can then be exchanged for other resources which will help you on your Stylist journey.

Promotional Codes & Events

From time to time, the Infinity Nikki Team will be sharing special limited time codes. These will generally grant the player a number of currency or resources that can then be redeemed in game.

The best places to find these are by keeping your eyes peeled on the Infinity Nikki X accountPear-Pal X accountInfinity Nikki Instagram and the official Infinity Nikki Discord Server.

Alongside promotional codes, you may find that there are special limited time events, just like the one which is planned for Nikki’s birthday. These will likely vary in content, but for this event, we got a lovely celebratory outfit for Nikki to wear!

Since the game has launched, we’ve seen various Seasons within the game. These launch when the game has a longer maintenance and introduces a wave of new content for players. Midway through each season, a smaller update then introduces a second wave of new content. This includes new quests, Resonance Outfits, events and more.

There truly is so much to explore in Infinity Nikki and it certainly is a rather cosy game to pick up and play. There’s no right or wrong way to play and you can play your way at your own speed.

So whether you are a new, returning or longtime player of Infinity Nikki, I hope this post helps you and other Stylists along on their journey!

Don’t forget Nikki’s birthday is coming up and we know there are new events planned for this year to help celebrate!

For now, see you in Miraland!
