So, I’ve narrowed down a handful of the games I’m looking forward to diving into during the event and throughout the rest of May!

The LudoNarraCon Games Selection

As previously mentioned, this year’s LudoNarraCon features a vast selection of games, both recently released and upcoming. Even at a quick glance, you can already pick out a number of games to explore and learn more about.

Have a look at the image below to see the full line up of the official festival selection of games. You can also read more about each here on the LudoNarraCon website.

Don’t forget, you can also check out the Story-Rich Megabundle which features 10 amazing stories all for one great price! For more information on this bundle, head over to the Steam Page here.

Now that you’ve seen a preview of the games available as part of the LudoNarraCon Official Selection, here are three of my picks that I’m excited to check out!

inKonbini: One Store. Many Stories.

I’ve been following this game for some time now on social media, and I’m so excited to check out the demo for inKonbini.

You’ll find yourself taken back to the early 1990s in a store located in a small, cosy Japanese town. Get to know your customers, their life stories, and help bring change to their lives. This slow-paced mediative game has a look at human connection, nostalgia and the beauty of everyday life.

You play as Makoto Hayakawa who is a college student. She has decided to swap busy college life with looking after her Aunt’s store for a short time. The day to day of inKonbini will have you looking after the daily tasks of the store such as stock management, store layout and ordering stock based on customer demand. You’ll also be able to use the landline to reach out to customers beyond the store and place orders.

Inspired by the Japanese concept of ichi-go, ichi-e, inKonbini is a game that celebrates the fleeting encounters in life as well as the joy and happiness of being in the moment.

The Prolouge Demo is available to play during LudoNarraCon via Steam. Currently, the game is set to launch in 2026 across multiple platforms including PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.

Tiny Bookshop

Next up and one for the book lovers is the Tiny Bookshop!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to run your own bookshop? What about one that seemed like a dream, settled along by the sea? Well, now you can with Tiny Bookshop!

Collect books, explore new scenic locations, curate your inventory and get to know your customers, all while learning what it means to run a small business in the community.

Tiny Bookshop will be releasing in 2025 on PC. A demo for the game is available for a limited time on Steam.

Usual June

What happened to a quiet summer break?

Well, in between working various jobs and catching up with friends and a few ghosts, June finds themselves investigating some of Fen harbour’s deepest and darkest secrets.

In this third person action adventure game, you’ll find yourself experience chaotic flexible combat, a truly witty cast and a one of a kind conspiracy story that has been described as funny, sweet and terrifying all at the same time!

There is currently no confirmed release date for Usual June, however it has been stated that the game will launch on Windows and Mac. Why not check out the demo in the meantime here?

Honourable Mentions

While these are just three of the many games I picked out, there truly are some wonderful games to experience. It goes without saying that Wanderstop is another game I recommend looking at. This is one game I played recently and truly adored my time with it.

Additionally, I’ve got my eyes on 1000xRESIST, After Love EP, Building Relationships, Pine A Story of Loss and Until Then to name a few more.
