Infinity Nikki has been out for about four months now and towards the end of April, the game will finally be launching on Steam. There’s no denying that the game has become a firm favourite of mine, even before it launched, and continues to do so.
For today’s post, I wanted to sit down and document a few thoughts and what I’ve been doing in game lately, as well as having a look at what was shared in the first Spilling the Tea article from the Infinity Nikki Team.

Spilling The Tea
The first, inaugural post from the game’s team detailing some of the highly anticipated features coming in future updates and addresses some of the current frequently asked question from the community.
Most notably from this first instalment of Spilling The Tea is some of the new features coming in upcoming updates. These including Nikki being able to have her own home in the game, outfit dyeing, multiplayer co-op gameplay, more outfits to collect and craft and additionally a new location, Serenity Island, for players to explore!
While the latter three mentioned above are due to arrive in the update that goes live at the end of April, the team did confirm some more information about the Home Feature. This feature is still very much on its way and is planned to launch during the Summer. It just needs a few final tweaks before it is released to players. Certainly a feature I’m looking forward to!
The team also discussed Nikki’s abilities no longer being tied to specific outfits. As she learns to harness her Whim as well as collecting a certain number of Ability Outfits, players will no longer need to wear specific outfits to use abilities. Definitely something very exciting!
Speaking of outfits, the Flutter Storm and Blooming Dreams outfit banners will be making a return in the Version 1.6 and 1.7 updates. There’s also an opportunity to unlock an exclusive dance emote for Flutter Storm too!
Likewise, there was some information about outfits and becoming more diverse as the game continues. Players have shared feedback in regard to some styles seeming repetitive, however, Infold Games has plans in place for mixing things up going forward! There is also news that they are working on some collaborations, with more news to come in the future!

What’s happening in my Game Currently?
For me, lots of photographs and experimenting with different styles. However, I’m mainly exploring the current season of content. I’ve completed the main aspect of the Revelry Season story, and now I’m just working through the smaller quests and activities before the next update.
I’ve also been working towards completing one of the new four-star outfit banners. At the time of writing this, I currently have six of the nine pieces of the Magical Scribbles outfit. I absolutely love this out fit, the style, the colours, just everything!

So Many Photographs
I have to say, I do love taking photographs in game. I love creating an outfit, finding the perfect location and having almost a little photo shoot with Nikki and Momo. Recently, I’ve been on a theme of more dark and mysterious photographs while trying to integrate colour into them through in the outfits.
I’ve also slowly been working through the remaining aspects of the photography upgrades and smaller side quests to try and get those all done.
The Infinity Nikki Creator Program
I’ve been asked a few times about the Infinity Nikki Creator Program. Firstly, yes, I’ve considered applying to the creator program several times. However, at this current moment in time, I felt that it was not for me for a few reasons.
Ultimately, I’m happy with working on my own content and sharing it with the community at my own pace. I may look into it again in the future. For now, I’ll keep posting regularly about the game and looking at various topics and themes relating to it.

Looking Ahead
I’m excited about the upcoming and future updates that have been mentioned in the first Spill the Tea segment from the development team. The transparency on updates regarding the content is lovely for the community and also answers questions that many of us have. I’m looking forward to what has been somewhat revealed and also any other surprises that the Infold Team have in store for us.
As for the story, I’m eager to see what else planned for Nikki and Momo. A new journey into new areas, discovering more of the lore and history of Miraland. Meet new characters and stylists, and create sometimes questionable looking outfits. In fact, there’s a lot I’m looking forward too.
A Four Month Reflection
I have to say, since I first played Infinity Nikki back in the media preview, I knew that Infinity Nikki would become a game I would love to play. Whether it is just logging in quickly to do a few daily tasks on my phone at work, at home after a busy day or if I’m looking to jump in and get through various quests and events, Infinity Nikki has been perfect.
While yes, the grind for diamonds can be frustrating, as is still trying to get that cute looking fluffy pink jacket out of the gum ball machine in Florawish, I’m still enjoying my time with Infinity Nikki and look forward to seeing what else is yet to come in the game. At this point, I still feel that I have plenty left to keep me going in between updates, and before we see more of the story unfold!
Have you been playing Infinity Nikki? If so, let me know your thoughts on the game and what you would love to see come to the game in a future update!
