The Sims 4 Creator Kits Review: Sleek Bathroom & Sweet Allure

It has been a moment since I last wrote about The Sims 4 and decided that now was a good time to have a quick look at two brand new The Sims 4 Creator Kits. These two new additions being Syboulette’s Sleek Bathroom and aharris00britney’s Sweet Allure Creator Kits.

Creator Kits in The Sims 4 are still a relatively new concept and including these two new release there are a total of six available to add to The Sims 4. They are similar to normal Kits in The Sims 4, however they are in collaboration with various creators from the game’s community.

Much like normal The Sims 4 Kits, these new type of Kits come in at the same price (£4.99/$4.99) however, are also great for console players. In a way, they give console players an insight into the creations from many well known custom content creators and creators in general from The Sims community.

The Sims 4 Sleek Bathroom Kit

The first of the two new Kits I decided to check out was Syboulette’s Sleek Bathroom Kit. This particular Creator Kit as the name states is a Build Kit that is focused on giving you more Bathroom building options. Featuring twenty-five new objects in a variety of colours and styles, this Creator Kit certainly gives you more possibilities to create a sleek and minimalistic aesthetic to your Sim’s bathroom routines.

Object Overview

With over twenty new objects spanning Build and Buy Mode, the Sleek Bathroom Kit features a variety of fitting objects for the Kit theme. Each of the new objects comes in a range of neutral colours, with a few blue and green shades.

A lot of very versatile objects that I’m sure will work well alongside what we have in The Sims 4 already. The neutral shades that each object comes with, even with the pops of colour, I’m sure will open up a range of new building ideas in your Sims homes.

Here’s another look at the new objects that come with the Creator Kit, in some of their alternative swatches.

Overall Thoughts

Whenever I’m building a bathroom in The Sims 4, I like to keep it simple, and I feel that this is a Kit that I’ll use a fair bit in my own game. I do like the minimalist feel to this Creator Kit as well, as the swatches work perfectly with Syboulette’s vision for the Creator Kit. I can certainly see myself using this Kit regularly in my own games going forward.

The Sims 4 Sweet Allure Kit

The second Creator Kit that was recently released was The Sims 4 Sweet Allure Creator Kit in collaboration with AHARRIS00BRITNEY. Unlike The Sims 4 Sleek Bathroom Kit, the Sweet Allure Kit is a CAS Kit. Themed around sweet and soft elegance in a range of new clothing options for your Sims.

CAS Overview

Unlike the Sleek Bathroom Kit, The Sims 4 Sweet Allure Kit features twenty-seven new clothing and accessory options for your Sims, with a mix of options for both Male and Female Sims.

Each of the new clothing options comes in a variety of colourful pastel swatches as well as versatile neutral colours. A lot of the new additions have some finer details, such as bows or details within the material the piece is made from. There certainly are a lot of style possibilities due to the soft and delicate style of the Sweet Allure Kit.

Overall Thoughts

The Sweet Allure Creator Kit in collaboration with AHARRIS00BRITNEY is a lovely Kit. It’s packed with a variety of new clothing options for your Sims in some lovely colours and materials. I can see myself using some of the new options, such as the jeans with the bow detail on the leg and the denim shorts, as well as a few of the tops in their various swatches. Again this is another Kit I can see myself using from time to time in game but more so for a smart casual type of look for my Sims.

Final Thoughts

One thing that I did notice as I was exploring both of the Kits is that there are a few pieces that seem similar to those we’ve seen in previous packs. For me, I’m not too worried about this as the ones I spotted were varied enough that you could identify they are different and from different packs over time or, while similar, offered a different selection of colour swatch options instead.

Despite this, I can’t compare the two to one another in great detail since one is a CAS Kit and the other being a Build Kit. Other than that, I am happy with both of these Creator Kits for The Sims 4 overall. To be more specific, I’d say I’m in the middle. I neither love them nor hate them but can see them being used in rotation in my play/building style in The Sims 4.

Have you picked up these two The Sims 4 Creator Kits? Let me know what you think!
