Spirit City Lofi Sessions is the incredibly popular gamified lofi focus tool that launched on Steam back in April 2024. Now, almost a year later, the team behind the game, Mooncube Games, is launching the game’s first expansion pack! The Cozy Kitchen Expansion!
Now, if you haven’t heard of Spirit City Lofi Sessions before, here’s a quick run down of the game.

A New Cozy Lofi Reveal
However, today I’m excited to share that the very first expansion for Spirit City Lofi Sessions launches today! The game that you know and love is taking things to the next level with the addition of the Cozy Kitchen Expansion, and it is out right now on Steam!
This new expansion for the game adds a wave of new content including a fully customisable kitchen, new Spirit companions as well as new kitchen themed activities for your avatar to take part in. All of which are aimed at bringing even more comfort and creativity to your everyday routines!
Let’s take a closer look at the sparkling new expansion’s key features!
- Three New Spirits to Befriend – New adorable Spirits to keep you company in the Kitchen – Including Capybun, a loaf-life capybara and Squire Sprout, a vegetable knight-in-training
- Nine Discoverable Spirit Variants – Expand your Spiritdex with unique and rare versions of your favourite spirits – Including Bentobunny, a variant of Dustbunny who loves sleeping in packed lunches and Toast-mate, a retro toaster variant of APE-bit.
- A Fully Customisable Kitchen – Personalize your dream kitchen with new decor options, including countertops, backsplashes, cabinets, and a cozy breakfast nook.
- Expanded Spiritdex – A dedicated new Spiritdex page for your culinary-themed spirit friends.
- New Avatar Items – Look the part as you don new aprons and chefs hats for your avatar.
- New Kitchen Activities – Enjoy cozy kitchen tasks like chopping veggies, cooking and washing dishes to enhance your daily productivity and relaxation.
The expansion truly is shaping up to create an even more cozy and comforting addition to the Spirit City Lofi Sessions game.

The Mooncube Games team has also released a number of updates for the base game that are available now and free to all!
- Three New Kitchen Inspired Soundscapes: These include Kitchen Ambience, Tasty Bubbling and Dishwasher sounds
- Upgraded Spiritdex: A new visual update for the Spiritdex including themed pages for each individual spirit
- New Activity Animations for Spirits: A number of brand-new animations have been added for existing Spirits
- Always on Top Mode: A new feature that allows the game window to lock in front of other windows. This way it allows players to easily work in other windows while keeping Spirit City Lofi Sessions easily visible and accessible
- And much, much more!
I am incredibly excited to share that I will be sharing my thoughts on the Spirit City Lofi Sessions Cozy Kitchen expansion over the coming weeks. I’ve used the base game a lot to help with my own productivity and have adored how wholesome and cozy the game is. This new expansion however is only opening up more possibilities for relaxing environments and activities in game.
