A slightly different post today, one of reflection and celebration.
Just over a year ago, I decided to make my return to content creation after stepping away from it for about eighteen months. I didn’t know what to expect upon returning let alone if I would stick with it and find my groove again. However, judging by the fact this post exists I certainly have stuck with it.
I won’t lie there have been ups and downs, moments when I’ve wanted to walk away, but I’ve kept going and, I’m proud that I have stuck with it. I’ve been lucky and incredibly grateful for some amazing opportunities over the past twelve months. To work with some wonderful teams of people and also meet some of the most creative creators ever which I’m lucky to call my friends.

The Comeback
A fresh start under a new name was definitely what I needed to do. Don’t get me wrong, I still feel totally new to this, but I’m learning as I go. A work in progress. I don’t always get it right the first time, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve broken things behind the scenes at all but despite that, I’m improving all the time. Little by little continuing to grow.
The love and support I’ve had from so many people since returning, I have no words for. I’m so thankful for everyone who has taken the time to read my content, interact with my posts or even just saying hello online. I really do appreciate it so much.
What are the plans going forward?
I’m still going to be posting mainly about video games, that is where my passion is when it comes to writing. However, I also want to expand into talking more about other topics. I’ve done this a little bit over the year, but I really want to add more posts about books, movies, television and I guess you could say geek/cosy lifestyle into the mix.
I have plenty of ideas that I want to pursue, some I know I can achieve, some need some more research and some might be a way off. Yet, that’s completely fine.
Five Favourite Posts
If I had to choose three favourite posts since I’ve returned they would have to be the following:
- Bring Me The Horizon, Concert Review
- Infinity Nikki, Exclusive Media Preview
- Paper Trail, Game Review
- B-PROJECT RYUSEI*FANTASIA: Dive into the Idol World
- The Book Club: A Journey in Rediscovering Reading
Each of these is significant to me in its own way and also has a meaningful place in my journey since returning to content creation.
I’m excited to see where this little blog goes over the next few years, I’m excited to keep growing my content, my audience and my community. There’s just so much I’m looking forward to!
Thank you to everyone who has been on this adventure with me over the last year and still as we progress into another quest!
