Are you ready to embark on a new adventure? One that takes you across a SCI-Fi-esque world where you are trying to figure out a mystery? One that involves your missing sister?
Of course, you’re ready!
Armed with your trusty van and a variety of tools, you set off across Cigalo, discovering new locations, meeting new people and taking in the world all while trying to piece together what happened to your sister.
During your adventure, you’ll find yourself traversing dangerous terrains, discovering ancient ruins and more in search of the answers you are longing for.
However, while in Cigalo, you’ll find out how the once-green planet came to exist as it is today. The more you explore this somewhat post-apocalyptic world, the more you’ll also learn about the environment, those who stayed, the robots and the aboriginal species the Reinetos and what it means to be a true community. Additionally, you’ll learn the many tales of Cigalo including those of the SandWitch.
So without further ado, welcome to Caravan SandWitch!
An Unexpected Journey
Caravan SandWitch has been one of those games on my radar that I’ve been so excited to check out and play. From the moment it was revealed to the world, I knew this was one not to miss.
The game opens up and gets straight to the point, filling in what you need to know regarding the story. It’s enough to get you started and get you, well, Sauge from the Space City back to Cigalo. Ultimately your sister, Garance is missing and has been for some time now. However, everything is not as it seems.
As you reacquaint yourself with some familiar faces, you discover the true extent of what has happened on Cigalo while you’ve been gone. Sadly, it was worse than you thought, and you quickly got to work helping the remaining residents.
From here, you’ll find yourself progressing through the story, completing various quests, tasks, puzzles and more. Ultimately, you’ll be trying to find the answers that Sauge is searching for, as well as whom this mysterious figure is that you keep seeing.

Dearest Diary, Hear My Thoughts
If you were to tell me I would get the opportunity to experience a game that feels like one of the cosiest games I’ve played this year mixed with elements and experiences somewhat similar to Death Stranding, I would tell you that you must be kidding!
However, as I play through Caravan SandWitch, it feels like a cosy Death Stranding. Just without the worry of a health bar, your character dying or fall damage.
Caravan SandWitch, is more than that though. Yes, it’s cosy, and you can explore to your heart’s content, you can follow the main story or take part in numerous side quests.

There’s something about exploring Cigalo that is magical despite being in a post-apocalyptic state. It’s a truly unique experience. Not to mention how beautiful the art style is, the colours, and the finer details. Of course, I also can’t forget about the added little funny moments and the Easter Eggs. If you know, you know!
I have spent so long just wondering the world, finding new locations, meeting new characters, and embarking on adventures large and small, just to remember I should be playing through the main story.
At this point, I haven’t even begun to talk about the soundtrack. However, I’ve had it playing in the background while I’ve been working away on various things the last few days. It’s just so calming, and in a way that I can’t really explain through a written post.

Overall, my experience with Caravan SandWitch has been incredible! Based on what I’ve played so far, I can not fault it at all, and I’d have to say I’m a good chunk of the way into the game at this point. There is so much I wish I could write about, however, I also don’t want to spoil anything from the storyline at all.
Caravan SandWitch is what I was hoping it would be and so much more. It’s marvellous and even now keeps surprising me more and more. I truly can’t wait to jump back in and continue exploring such a beautiful game, as well as helping Sauge hopefully find the answers she’s looking for and solving the mystery surrounding the mysterious figure I keep stumbling across!
If you are looking for a new game to check out, I highly recommend Caravan SandWitch. It’s out right now and available on PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation consoles!
