Exciting New LEGO Fortnite Sets Revealed!

Yesterday, the LEGO Group finally revealed four upcoming sets. Specifically, the first four in probably many for the physical LEGO Fortnite collection. If you follow LEGO creators or YouTubers online, you may recall these have been rumoured for some time. Now that the LEGO Fortnite game has been out for a few months now, it seems only natural for these sets to finally be revealed.

The Sets

There are a total of four sets releasing on 1st October 2024. They are currently available for pre-order over on the LEGO website. Pricing-wise, the sets range from £12.99 to £89.99 or your local equivalent.

Durrr Burger

The smallest and cheapest set of the collection is the infamous Durrr Burger. A small and fun build, perfect for any LEGO or Fortnite fan! With 193 pieces and costing £12.99 this looks to be such a fun introduction into the physical LEGO Fortnite world!

Supply Llama

Next up, is the Supply Llama. This is another fun-looking build with its notable facial expression and a saddle full of familiar in-game objects such as the Grappler and Shield Potions. A fun build full of iconic purple and blue tones and space to hide the supplies within. The Supply Llama will have 691 pieces and comes in at £34.99.

Battle Bus

You can’t have a LEGO Fortnite collection without the Battle Bus! This set is packed full of many familiar and iconic faces from the game itself. Now, if you know of anyone who is a LEGO and a Fortnite fan or even someone who is just starting out, this would be a great set to consider. The Battle Bus contains 954 pieces and will cost £89.99. The set also comes with nine exciting mini-figures.

Peely Bone

Last but certainly not least is the eighteen-plus Fortnite set that comes in the form of Peely Bone! A little more of a niche set and definitely a display one, however it certainly is a unique one to see at launch. Peel Bone comes in with a total of 1414 pieces and will cost £89.99 at launch.

Initial Thoughts on the Reveal?

The LEGO Fortnite collection has long been rumoured, and to finally see the initial sets is exciting. I wasn’t too sure what I wanted to see for the initial sets, but I can say I’m happy to see the Battle Bus and Supply Llama, as they are memorable aspects of the franchise. There is a good range from the four sets however, I would have liked to have seen another smaller set to go alongside the Durrr Burger or maybe even a £50 set to bridge that gap between the pricing.

There definitely is potential to grow the LEGO Fortnite sets in the future, although LEGO probably has already thought of this. It would be nice to see sets based on some of the locations within the Battle Royale. Maybe even some of the characters as Brickheadz or sets similar to Peely Bone.

Even with the launch of the LEGO Fortnite video game, there could be some kind of crossover set or promotion maybe. Truthfully, there are a number of possibilities for LEGO Fortnite both now and in the future, and I’m excited to see what direction it will go in.

Which Sets are you interested in?

I’ll be honest, there are two LEGO Fortnite sets that I’m interested in. Firstly, the Durrr Burger. This is mainly due to its reasonable price and the fact it’s another gaming-related set I can easily add to my collection. It’s small and cute, what more could you want?

The Supply Llama and Battle Bus are also good sets, but not ones I’m interested in currently. The only exception to this would be the Mini Figures from the Battle Bus set. They look really cool and super detailed, and I can see them making their way into my display in some way.

Peely Bone, funnily enough, is the one set I’m going to save up for to add to my collection. I like that it’s a little more unusual, a bit more niche in a way, but also a display piece, which is the type of LEGO sets I go for now. Especially since I’m running out of room for LEGO in general. Additionally, I do tend to play as Peely occasionally in-game too so it only seems fitting/

Overall, I think these four sets are good for the first LEGO Fortnite wave. I’m excited to see what other sets we could see in the future, as well as what others think about the sets. As I mentioned earlier, there’s definitely potential to add so many more sets based upon locations and landmarks as well as memorable aspects of the game in the future.

The LEGO Fortnite sets are available for pre-order right now on the LEGO website ahead of their launch on 1st October 2024.
