Let’s talk about Pounce Light’s upcoming game, Tiny Glade!
I first heard about Tiny Glade via TikTok and soon after it was popping up all over social media. Intrigued to find out more, I waited for the demo of the game to launch so that I could take a closer look.

What is Tiny Glade?
Tiny Glade is essentially a cosy and relaxing castle doodling game which is going to be released in Q3 2024. The game itself has been created in a truly unique custom engine that utilizes not only the Rust language but also aspects of Bevvy.
Described on Steam as a game that has no aspects of management, combat or even wrong answers, Tiny Glade gives you the possibility to explore endless possibilities.
By carefully placing every brick, every pebble and every plank, let your imagination run free and create your perfect castle diorama.

Creating Castle Doodles
Tiny Glade had me hooked from the very moment I launched the game. Exploring the Summer map that is a part of the demo, I was quickly able to pick up how the game worked and instantly began getting lost in creating castles.
The demo itself offers a variety of what the full game will have to offer. While there are a few aspects of tools locked out of the demo, you can still get a pretty good idea of how each and every tool works.
Now, it was time to get on with creating my ultimate castle build!
After some experimenting and playing around with the different mechanics of Tiny Glade, I was finally on a roll.

Wait, There’s More!
Since I started playing the Tiny Glade demo, the team behind the game have even gone as far as adding a new camera mode!
The recently added first person mode really allows you to take a more in-depth look at your creations and take some wonderful screenshots.

While you’re taking in the breathtaking surroundings, why not switch modes and explore your castle diorama’s as a bodyless ghost!
Make Friends with the Local Wildlife
While you’re exploring the world of Tiny Glade, why not make friends with the local wildlife? You’ll find these adorable little sheep float down with their umbrella, and then wander around. Just be careful where you place new buildings.

Final Thoughts
The Tiny Glade demo was cosy, relaxing and so much fun to play. The possibility to make so many different kinds of builds in the demo alone makes you wonder just how much you can create in the full game!
If you’re looking for a cosy and relaxing game, with a gorgeous art style and a beautiful accompanying soundtrack, then Tiny Glade is the one for you!
The demo for Tiny Glade is out now on Steam and Pounce Light will be releasing the game in full later this year on PC.
