Take Me or Leaf Me | Review & Announcement

Welcome to a special Valentine’s Week blog post!

Before we jump into the review of Take Me or Leaf Me, I’d like to officially reveal that I am part of the Kinder World Games Kindness Ambassador Program!

What is a Kindness Ambassador?

A Kindness Ambassador is someone who wants to make the world a kinder place. Regardless of who you are, where in the world you are, or even your follower count, if you are passionate about creating a kinder and more welcoming place in this world.

Why did you become a Kindness Ambassador?

There are many reasons why I decided to join the Kindness Ambassador program, however, where else could I combine my love of gaming and doing my best to make the world a better place than with Kinder World?

Take Me or Leaf Me Review

Take Me or Leaf Me is the universe’s first-ever digital houseplant dating simulation game. That’s right, a dating simulator with houseplants!

This unique and wacky game is from the team at Kinder World and is set within the Kinder World universe!

This isn’t the first year that the Kinder World team have released Take Me or Leaf Me. In fact, this is the second year it has made its return.

You are first introduced to the Woodlands and a selection of characters. You play as a singleton and have been sent on a mission to scout out your local plant shop to find the perfect new houseplant companion.

However, you are unaware of exactly what you have let yourself into when you are presented with four different (kind of hot in a weird way) houseplants.

Now, I’m trying to not share any spoilers as such as this was such a fun game to play through and something I wasn’t expecting myself to play through this week, but it was definitely worth it.

After selecting my houseplant of choice, it was time to break the ice as such. With no idea how this was going to go, I was diving into the complete unknown.

You spend some time with each of the four singletons and the houseplants, creating conversation and asking each other questions. This part was very interesting and made me laugh at times just through the conversations and some of the responses that came up.

The game took around twenty minutes to play through, and I actually was paired with the two characters I thought I’d end up with. In fact, there are six different endings you can get, and you can instantly jump back in and replay the game again to discover them.

Take Me or Leaf Me was an unexpected quick play-through that wasn’t on my radar initially this week but was a great experience. Full of surprises and definitely something I wouldn’t have usually explored.

If you have a spare half an hour, feel free to take a look at Take Me or Leaf Me for free right here! There are no download requirements, just access to the internet and a browser! You can even play it on your mobile device!

Alternatively, you can also check out Kinder World’s free mobile game, Kinder World: Wellbeing Plants. It’s free and available on both Android and Apple devices!
